Give to something
that lasts.

KEDA is being built as an institution whose resources remain dedicated to its mission — creating practical economic opportunity, strengthening communities and supporting sustainable development.

Our Commitment

Your contribution belongs
to the mission.

01

Foundation-owned resources

Contributions become resources of KEDA as a legal foundation. They are not personal property of founders, directors or individual project leaders.

02

Mission-first use

KEDA's resources are intended to be used to advance the purposes established in its governing documents and to support activities consistent with its mission.

03

No private profit distribution

KEDA is not being established to distribute foundation surplus to founders or directors as private profit. Income generated through activities remains available to advance the foundation's purposes, subject to applicable law.

04

Long-term protection

KEDA intends to establish constitutional protections ensuring that its mission and assets cannot simply be redirected for private benefit.

05

Responsible governance

KEDA will maintain financial records, appropriate internal controls and clear responsibilities for the people entrusted with managing the foundation.

06

Transparency

KEDA intends to publish meaningful information about its activities, major projects, finances and use of resources as the organisation develops.

Built for the long term

We are building an institution, not a private fund.

KEDA is intended to exist beyond any individual founder, director or project.

Projects may change. People may change. Priorities may evolve. The underlying mission and the responsible use of foundation resources should remain protected by the organisation's governing framework.

Where KEDA generates income through lawful activities, that income can support the organisation's mission and future activities rather than becoming a private distribution to individuals.

Ways to Support

Help build the capacity
to create real opportunity.

01

General support

Flexible contributions allow KEDA to direct resources toward the areas of greatest mission need.

02

Project support

Support can help develop specific initiatives such as KEDA Bakery | Kobani, subject to the foundation's governing documents and applicable donation terms.

03

Strategic partnerships

Organisations and businesses can support KEDA through expertise, equipment, services, partnerships or financial contributions.

04

Long-term funding

Larger contributions can help KEDA establish durable programmes, build organisational capacity and develop sustainable economic initiatives.

Support the mission. Build something that lasts.
Build something that remains.

KEDA is currently establishing its legal and governance framework. Information about how to contribute will be published once the foundation's formal structure and contribution mechanisms are in place.
